About KP

KP (they/them) is an actor, singer, mover, and acting teacher currently based in NYC.

KP is a Korean-Adoptee who grew up in Harford County, Maryland (near Baltimore). They’ve always been artistic with drawing, painting, being part of band, chorus, and then ultimately theatre.

As an Asian, fem, enby performer, KP is a collaborative human who loves to transform. Whether it’s a grandiose diva, a grounded leading lady, the bubbly friend, or a quirky person who loves to chew on the scenery, KP is a true shapeshifter onstage.

They are the artistic director for the cabaret series “Here We Are”, featuring the BIPOC community in the Harford County+ area. KP often heard people asking where the Actors of Color were. Here We Are is a joyous answer to that question.

Offstage, KP likes to paint, play video games (mostly Minecraft), cook, go to the gym, and play D&D. They also like using their free will in NYC to go to different places.
