Hi:)

KP (they/them) is an actor, singer, mover, and acting teacher currently based in NYC.

KP is a Korean-Adoptee who grew up in Harford County, Maryland. Being right next to Baltimore, they love Old Bay and blue crabs. They’ve always been artistic with drawing, painting, being part of band, chorus, and then ultimately theatre.

As an Asian, fem, enby performer, KP loves to transform. Whether it’s a grandiose diva, a guarded antagonist, grounded leading lady, or a quirky scenery chewer, KP is a true shapeshifter onstage. While transforming is fun, collaboration is everything to them. It is a privilege for them to be in a career where they are constantly surrounded by artistry, on and offstage.

Besides acting, KP teaches acting lessons at multiple levels (Acting With KP). They are the artistic director for the cabaret series “Here We Are”, featuring the BIPOC community in the Harford County+ area.

KP likes to paint, play video games, cook, go to the gym, and play D&D. They also like using their free will in NYC to go to different places, especially if it’s getting boba or hotpot.
